Yet in many developing nations mental health care is virtually ignored and resources are scarce. It’s especially dramatic in the poorest countries where mental illness means a shorter life expectancy compared to Europe and North America.

US based institutes Serving an International Population:
The international community is at greater risk for psychological set backs as they are unfamiliar with the western clinical methods of treatment and therefore shy away from them. Most Eastern Nations share different beliefs of mental health and its understanding. Therefore, Counseling and Counseling Centers are highly under utilized by the International Community.
